Gov. McCrory Thanks Residents for Staying Off Roads

RALEIGH, NC — The winter storm is blamed for deaths of at least five people in North Carolina. Those numbers could have been worse.

Friday, Governor McCrory thanked North Carolinians for heeding the warnings to stay home.

“I want to thank first the people of North Carolina for following the lead and staying off the road in most cases and taking care of their families and understanding that their public safety is our number one priority,” said Gov. McCrory.
