Albemarle, N.C — An Albemarle man has been arrested and charged with trafficking Cocaine among other violations.
Timothy Eugene Richardson, 40, of Albemarle, was arrested and charged with two counts of Felony Maintaining A Dwelling or Vehicle for a place of Controlled Substance, Felony Possession Of Cocaine, Felony Possession of Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Trafficking Cocaine, and Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana paraphernalia.
The arrest occurred after authorities from the Albemarle Police Department, North Carolina Probation and Parole, Stanly County Sheriff’s Office, and Village of Misenheimer executed a search warrant at 1120 Elm street in Albemarle, where they seized 33.5 grams of Cocaine, 262.5 grams of Marijuana, and $2,247.31 in cash. The city says that they received a high number of complaints about drug activity in the area.
Richardson received a $100,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on February 1, 2016.
