Man Arrested After SWAT Standoff
GASTONIA, NC —Β Police say a man held officers at bay for hours with a toy airsoft BBΒ gun.
Officers were called to a trailer park near Bethany Road and Jeran Lane in south Gastonia around 4pm Wednesday afternoon after someone called 911.
Police say 44-year-old Danny Bull was drunk and refused to get out of his car.Β Eventually the SWATΒ team was called.
He surrendered peacefully around 7pm.
