CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have arrested a teen responsible for 17 car break-ins in the NoDa area.
On Tuesday morning, officers responded to the 3600 block of Oakwood Avenue in reference to a larceny from auto. Upon arrival the officers located the victim, who had captured Garamond Hixson-Rozear, 19, and was holding him until officers arrived.
Additional information led to officers in determining that 17 vehicles had been broken into by the teen.
Hixson-Rozear has been charged with 17 counts of Larceny from Motor Vehicle.
