Clintons Bring Presidential Campaign to Columbia

COLUMBIA, SC — Former President Bill Clinton is on the campaign trail making a case for his wife Hillary. He spoke at Allen University in Columbia, South Carolina Wednesday night.

The rally was an effort to fire up African-American voters who could be key in the state’s Democratic primary.

“I’m sick of seeing videos of young black men being shot down by police officers that should have been doing something else,” said Clinton.

Before the event, Clinton met with Democratic members of the general assembly inside the State House.

South Carolina’s Democratic primary is February 27.
