UNION COUNTY, N.C. — Officers discovered a loaded revolver in a Forest Hills High School student’s car on Wednesday.
On Wednesday morning, two Forest Hills High School students were involved in an on-campus fight that resulted in both students being arrested by Union County Sheriff’s Deputies.
That’s when Deputies discovered one student, Kenneth Rose, 16, had a loaded revolver in his vehicle. The weapon was taken into evidence and Rose was arrested and charged with Possession of a Weapon on School Property.
The other suspect involved in the fight, Kyree Lotharp, 18, was arrested and charged with Simple Assault. Lotharp appeared before a magistrate and was released on a written promise.
