LANCASTER, SC — Deputies are looking for two suspects they say tied up a couple in their home Wednesday evening and robbed them.
The incident happened around 8:30pm Wednesday at an elderly couple’s home on Cureton Taylor Drive.
Deputies say the wife was approached in her backyard by two armed men, one with a gun and another with a knife, wearing masks. They then took her inside where she and her husband were tied to chairs and had bags placed over their heads. The robbers took cash and firearms before fleeing in the couple’s vehicle.
The husband was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries after he and his wife managed to free themselves and call for help.
Deputies say the suspects are two black males. One is around 5’7″ and the other is around 5’9.” Both men were wearing masks, dressed in black, and one was carrying a black long barrel handgun. The stolen vehicle is a 2012 black Chevrolet Silverado QuadCab pickup truck with South Carolina license plate number USA 7490. They say there is also a dent in the driver’s side door.
