YORK COUNTY, SC — Troopers say one person is dead after a collision last night on Sutton Springs Rd.
Troopers say a driver struck Jasper Wright of Hickory Grove in the rear while they were both heading north on Sutton Springs Road just after 9pm Tuesday night. The driver then lost control and ran off the road striking a tree.
Wright was not injured in the accident, but the other driver was pronounced dead on the scene.
The name of the deceased driver has not been released at this time, and troopers have not said what may have led to the accident.
