CHARLOTTE, NC — Two people are in custody after a shooting and chase came to an end in west Charlotte.
Officers say Timothy Blackmon, 20, and Donavan Davis, 23, were engaged in an argument with Lonnie Raye, 23, when they began firing a handgun at him.
Officers quickly located Blackmon and Donavan’s vehicle and followed them in a brief pursuit. The two then jumped from the vehicle and attempted to run.
Both men were arrested, but no further details have been released. Officials say Raye was not injured.
