LINCOLNTON, NC – Lincoln County Sheriff’s detectives have charged a Kannapolis woman in connection with a theft from a residence on McClintock Drive.
Anna Marie Yates, 31, was reportedly working with a cleaning company that was at the residence when two rings valued at approximately $10,000 were taken from a jewelry box in the master bedroom.
Police say they discovered Yates wearing one of the stolen rings when she answered the door. The ring valued at $7,000 was recovered while the other ring is still missing
Yates was arrested on Thursday and charged with one felony count each of Larceny and Possession of Stolen Goods.
