Students and staff are returning to class after being given the all clear at Hickory Ridge High School following an earlier evacuation.

HARRISBURG, NC — Officials with Cabarrus County Schools confirm that Hickory Ridge High School has been evacuated.
Officials say a suspicious unattended package was found in front of the school around 8:15am this morning. All students are safe at this time.
