Or at least the punching bag for America’s baseball team.
According to an ESPN reporter, the Yankees players went through ‘media-training’ and were instructed the right and wrong way to handle a post-game press conference with the media.
Cam Newton was the example of the wrong way. Seattle’s Russell Wilson was portrayed as the right way.

Two days after the Super Bowl 50 defeat, Newton intimated that he will do things on his own terms. That includes the way he wins and loses and his demeanor before and after the game.
It’s not surprising that Cam Newton is criticized but it is surprising that another team in a completely different sport is okay with using him as a negative example.
