Suspect Sought In Two Armed Robbery Cases

GASTONIA, NC — Police are searching for a suspect they say robbed two stores at knife point over the weekend.gastonia armed robbery surveillance

One robbery happened Saturday night at the Express Mart on 937 E. Garrison Blvd, and the other happened Sunday night at the Family Dollar on 111 W. Garrison Blvd.

Police say in both robberies a white male, about 5’9,” 150lbs, with a thin mustache, wearing a knit-style hat, a black full-zip hoodie, jeans and tennis shoes threatened the clerks with a knife and took cash from the registers. He then left the scene in an older model single cab pickup truck that was described as gray or silver with rust spots.

No one was injured in either robbery.
