CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are searching for a man accused of cutting off his electronic monitoring device.
Investigators say Kenneth Edwards is wanted on outstanding warrants for assault with a deadly weapon and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.
Police say Edwards was court ordered to wear an electronic monitor on February 3rd as a condition of his pretrial release. On February 26th, police say Edwards cut off the device in the Clanton Park neighborhood.
Anyone with information on Edwards whereabouts is asked to Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
