MT. HOLLY, N.C.– Police say a man has died after a shooting in Mount Holly Sunday morning.
Around 6:30 a.m. Sunday Gaston County Police were called to CaroMont Regional Medical Center Emergency Department after a man arrived with a gunshot wound.
When officers arrived at the emergency department they were told the man had died from his injuries.
Police say that based on their investigation, the victim was shot in the 500 block of Lanier Avenue Extension. They say their was a large party at the address and that the man was taken to the hospital by someone who was at the party.
The victim has not been identified at this time.
