ROCK HILL, SC — One person is dead after being hit by a car while walking down US-21 Tuesday evening.
An official with the South Carolina Highway Patrol says 51-year-old Willie Small of Lancaster hit a pedestrian that was walking down US-21 near Marine Drive yesterday around 6:45pm.
Officials say the victim was walking in the road toward oncoming traffic when he was hit.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
