CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers have had a busy day. After releasing three players Thursday, the team announced they re-signed offensive lineman Chris Scott.

Scott signed a one-year contract with the Panthers. Scott played in 13 regular season games and all three post-season games in 2015.
The Panthers have re-signed Scott, linebacker Ben Jacobs, long snapper J.J. Jansen and put the franchise tag on cornerback Josh Norman.
