CHESTER, SC — The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating an accident that killed two people in Chester County this morning.
Troopers say the accident happened around 8am Monday morning on SC 9 at Turnbuckle Road. Both drivers were pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators say the driver of a 2003 Chevrolet van crossed the center line and hit a log truck head-on.
SCHP is still on scene.
