On March 7th, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the Food Country convenience store in connection with a breaking and entering. A suspect had entered the store by removing a window air conditioner and climbing through the window.

Review of the surveillance video at the store revealed one individual wearing a hoodie, gloves and a wolf mask went to a desk drawer and file cabinet where the money was kept. The suspect removed a total of $4,500 from the office.

During the investigation, officers received information that led them to identify Mitchell McMickle, 21, and his girlfriend, Leslie Boone, 23, as the couple responsible.

McMickle and Boone were charged with one felony count each of Breaking and Entering a Building, Larceny after Breaking and Entering, and Possession of Stolen Goods.
