BALTIMORE, M.D. — Baltimore Ravens cornerback Tray Walker died Friday from injuries sustained in a motorbike accident on Thursday, according to ESPN.
TheΒ 23-year-old reportedlyΒ suffered significant head injuries when his dirt bike collided with an SUV just before 8 p.m. on Thursday night.
According to Detective Dan Ferrin, a spokesman for the Miami-Dade Police Department, Walker was driving his dirt bike west on Northwest 75th Street when he collided at an intersection with a Ford Escape traveling south on Northwest 21st Avenue. Police said Walker was not wearing a helmet.
The RavensΒ tweeted about the incident, saying, “We are grieving the loss of a special young man.”
