CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say a woman has died from injuries she sustained in an accident that happened on March 15th in south Charlotte.
Investigators Jeannine Haight was seriously injured in the wreck that happened on Pineville-Matthews Road at the intersection of Elm Lane.
According to a police report, Haight attempted to make a left hand turn at a traffic-light and turned directly into the path of a Chevrolet Suburban being driven by Cheryl Montecalvo-Brazil.
Police say Haight died from her injuries Tuesday. The crash is still under investigation at this time but police do not believe drugs, alcohol or excessive speed are factors.
