CNN — A suicide blast in the eastern Pakistan city of Lahore has killed at least 67 people, a local government spokesman told CNN.
More than 300 others were injured, police official Haider Ashraf said.
Officials said the blast was from a suicide bomber and happened at the city’s Gulshan Iqbal Park.
The explosion ripped through the heart of Lahore on Sunday evening, at a time when many families were at the park.

AP — Zaeem Qadri said Sunday that the chief minister of Punjab province, Shahbaz Sharif, has announced three days mourning and pledged to ensure that those involved in the attack are brought to trial.

A health official says that 44 people have been killed and 91 wounded in a blast in a park in the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore.
Salman Rafiq, an adviser to the chief minister of Punjab province, said Sunday that many of the wounded are in a critical condition.
