CHARLOTTE, N.C — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Armed Robbery Unit is requesting public assistance in identifying a suspect responsible for an armed robbery in the University City Division.
The robbery occurred on March 26, 2015 at the Kangaroo Express at 8008 Harris Station Boulevard in Charlotte. According to the clerk, at approximately 1:41 a.m., the suspect entered the store, brandished a firearm, and demanded money from the business. Once the property was obtained, the suspect fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5′ 9″ and 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black and white pants.
