Virginia State Trooper Dead After Shooting At Bus Terminal

RICHMOND, VA– A Virginia State Trooper is dead after a man opened fire at a greyhound bus station in Richmond.

Two civilians were also shot but they are expected to recover.

The gunman was then shot dead by two other troopers.

It happened as low enforcement were using the bus terminal for training.

“Trooper Dermyer approached an adult male subject inside the front doors of the bus station. During the course of talking with the male subject, the male subject pulled out a handgun and shot Chad multiple times, ” said Col. W Steven Flaherty of the Virginia State Police


Police cleared the bus station and made arrangements to get passengers to their destinations.

One of those buses was set to stop in charlotte this evening.
