DAVIDSON, N.C. — Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit and killed by a garbage truck in Davidson.
The accident reportedly happened on Main Street between Jackson Street and Concord Road shortly after 12pm.
Witnesses say a woman and her dog were killed after being pinned under the garbage truck. The road has been completely shut down. Expect major delays in the area.
