Police Looking For Suspect After Huntersville Bank Robbery

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Police are looking for a suspect they say robbed the First Community Bank Friday morning.

Investigators say a man entered the First Community Bank on Gilead Road, approached a teller and demanded money.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years old, 5’5″-5’10” tall, 140-160 pounds, average build, with a black goatee and beard.  He was last seen wearing a black in color stocking cap on his head, black sunglasses, a black sweatshirt with ‘Powerade’ written on the front, khaki or cream-colored pants and brown work style boots.

The suspect is accused of leaving the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.  No arrests have been made at this time.  Anyone with information about this bank robbery is asked to call 911.
