HICKORY, N.C. — Come celebrate North Carolina Beer Month at the fourteenth annual Hickory Hops on April 16, in downtown Hickory.
Craft beer has become a passion in North Carolina and Hickory Hops celebrates that passion. Hickory Hops is a rain or shine, outdoor, beer and music festival organized by the Hickory Downtown Development Association and Olde Hickory Brewery. The event will be from 1:00 p.m. until 6 p.m. and feature over 50 breweries and hundreds of beers. First time participants include Fortnight Brewing, Ironclad Brewery, Skull Camp Brewing, and Unknown Brewing.
The Carolina’s Championship of Beer also returns. Judges will analyze nearly 350 beers and the three Best of Show winners will be awarded during the festival. Many of the beers will be available for sample as well.
Baby Black Orchestra is the musical headliner and they are guaranteed to provide the perfect backdrop for your beer drinking experience.
Advance tickets are $30 plus taxes and fees. You can purchase tickets in person at the Olde Hickory Tap Room for, Olde hickory Station, And Amos Howards for $35 in person and cash only.
The remaining tickets will be $40 at the gate. Designated driver tickets are available for $10.
