Kennedy Meeks Brought to Tears After Title Game Loss

Charlotte Native Had 4 Points, 7 Rebound in Championship Loss to Villanova

HOUSTON, TX– The North Carolina Tar Heels were paced in the NCAA Tournament by Charlotte native Kennedy Meeks. He had some struggles during his junior season, but Meeks dominated in the paint for much of the postseason.

After Monday nights loss buzzer-beating championship loss to Villanova, Meeks opened up to Brandon Davidow about the support and commitment he has from family and friends in Charlotte. Speaking about his family brought Meeks to tears.

Kennedy played his high school basketball at West Charlotte High School.

Carolina finished the season 33-7.
