BELMONT, N.C.– The Belmont Police Department responded to an armed robbery Saturday morning.
It happened at the Wells Fargo Bank in the 600 block of Park Street around 10:14 a.m.
Police say no one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as 5’7″. He was wearing a dark blue pea coat, sunglasses and a black doo rag.
