Intimidators Down Delmarva for Second Win, 2-1

KANNAPOLIS, NC (WCCB Charlotte) — The Intimidators used RBI singles from Cody Daily and Antonio Rodriguez as part of a two-run second inning on way to downing the Delmarva Shorebirds, 2-1, on Monday Night at CMC Northeast Stadium.

Kannapolis (2-3) two run third frame came after Delmarva used a Gerrion Grim RBI double to plate the game’s first run.

Intimidators starting pitcher Johnathan Frebis (1-0) threw five innings of one-run ball, striking out two and allowing just the single hit to Grim. Kannapolis relief pitchers combined to throw four shutout frames to finish the game.

Game two of the three game set with Delmarva is at 7:05 on Tuesday.
