Coleman Recalls Flashlights Due To Fire Hazard

CHARLOTTE, NC — Coleman has issued a recall for three models of their lithium-ion flashlights due to a potential fire hazard.

The recall is for three models of the Coleman CTAC Lithium-Ion Flashlights. The models include the CTAC20 (model 2000013874), CTAC40 (model 2000013873) and CTAC60 (model 2000013872).

The company says there are reports of the batteries overheating and catching fire. No injuries have been reported, but there has been minor property damage.

The flashlights are 6.5″ long, and black with white “Coleman” name printed on the handle. The model numbers can also be found printed in white on the upper portion of the handle next to the light. The lithium-ion batteries inside are red with “Coleman” printed in white on them.
