CHARLOTTE, NC — Two suspects are in the hospital after running from police and flipping their car on I-85 Wednesday.
CMPD officers were trying to arrest two suspects on Statesville Avenue near I-85 Wednesday morning when they took off in their car. Police chased the suspects down I-85 to the Brookshire Blvd exit. The suspects then lost control and flipped their vehicle.
The suspects tried to flee on foot but were quickly apprehended on Linwood Ave. They were taken to CMC with minor injuries. 
Two police cruisers were also hit during the chase but officials say those officers were not injured.
Officials say the names and charges for the suspects will be released once they are discharged from the hospital and taken into custody.
