Should Charlotte Businesses Clean Up Messy Politics?

The Queen City is open for business.

That’s the message behind a new campaign, called “Always Welcome Charlotte.”

The Charlotte Regional Visitors authority kicked off the campaign today in response to the fallout from House Bill 2.

Several businesses are jumping on board, hanging always welcome signs to promote diversity and inclusion. The Westin in Uptown is one of the businesses that wants people to know they’re open for business… and open for all.

Should the Charlotte business community have to clean up the mess made by lawmakers?
