CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say they have arrested a man who shot an employee at aΒ business in east Charlotte in November 2016.
Lester Artis is accused of shooting an employee at the Family Dollar store on East Sugar Creek during a robbery attempt. Β The employee survived the shooting.
Artis was taken into custody on April 18th. Β He has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting injury.
