CHARLOTTE, NC — The CMPD officer and two others involved in a late night head-on collision are expected to be okay.
The accident happened around 10:00pm Monday night near University City Boulevard and I-85. An SUV heading in the wrong direction hit the CMPD officer head-on.
The officer and two people in the SUV were taken to the hospital. They are all expected to be okay.
Police do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
