Local Businesses Gather Donations After Ecuador Earthquake

Businesses around the Carolinas are helping those impacted by the earthquake that hit Ecuador on Saturday.

The magnitude-7.8 earthquake was said to be the worst disaster the country has faced in decades, killing over 570 people and injuring over 4,000.

Global Solutions Inc. in Lancaster, South Carolina, and Cabo’s Restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina, are accepting donations to send to the people of Ecuador following the natural disaster.

You can send items to Integrated Global Solutions, Inc. Charlotte HWY Lancaster, SC 29702. The schedule to receive donations is Monday through Friday from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m.

The company is not accepting money donations. Instead, they are asking for items such as non-perishable foods and cleaning supplies. There is no limit on donation sizes.

If you have smaller donation items that are easy to transport, there are collection boxes at Cabo’s Restaurant, located at Carmel Road Charlotte NC, 28226. The business is open from 8 a.m.- 11 p.m.
