SLED: No Comment on Chesterfield Co. Lawsuit
CHESTERFIELD CO., S.C. – New information about the lawsuit filed against the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office and Undersheriff Rob Lee last week. SLED is now telling WCCB Charlotte it would be “inappropriate” to discuss the allegation made in the lawsuit against the agency because of the on-going litigation.
Former Deputy Dana Wallace alleges in his civil complaint that a SLED agent called Rob Lee in the summer of 2014, told Lee they’d gotten a complaint about him, and urged Lee to be careful.
Wallace also alleges that Lee forced employees to work on his personal property, used business trips to have affairs and even destroyed photo evidence for an accused child molester.
Lee’s boss, Sheriff Jay Brooks, calls the lawsuit “frivolous.”
