IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Officials have arrested a Statesville man for sexually assaulting a 7-year-old.
On April 10th, a report was filed in reference to the child being sexually assaulted by a family friend.
As a result of the investigation, 33-year-old Kevin Joyner was charged with four counts of Statutory Sex Offense with a Child by an Adult Offender. He was taken to the Iredell County Detention center.
Joyner has drug related criminal history beginning in 2003 in Iredell County. He was convicted in 2015 for Possession of Cocaine. He had previously been convicted in 2007 and 2010 with multiple counts of possession and/or sell and deliver Cocaine and in 2011 for Sale of Marijuana.
