CMS Names Their Teacher Of The Year

CHARLOTTE, NC– Out of all the teachers in Charlotte, Walter G Byers School has this year’s best. Bragging rights are in order tonight for Jordan Todd, CMS’ 2016 teacher of the year!

Todd’s been the teacher of a second grade class since they were in kindergarten.  She says being together the past couple years allows her to have a strong relationship with the students and parents.

“We are the next builders of the next generation, and I look at my kids and I think how important this is because they’re going to take care of me one day, gonna make the laws one day, I want to be part of that next generation.” said Todd

Keffer Volkswagen presented Todd with the keys to a new car. She gets to drive it for a year.
