FDA Puts New Regulations on E-Cigs And Hookahs
CHARLOTTE, NC– The Food and Drug Administration will now regulate all tobacco-related products, including e-cigarettes and hookah tobacco. That means no one under the age of 21 can buy e-cigarettes.
Packages will also come with warnings labels. The FDA will also control all of the “Parts” and “Components” of tobacco.
A local vaping lounge says its been planning for the change and that it’s good for business.
“I think a lot of smaller mom and pop shops arent gonna be able to compete arent gonna be able to do what we’re doing, and comply with the FDA regulations.” said Kure Group Chairman Martin Sumichrast.
The no e-cigarettes for anyone under 21 rule goes into effect in August.
