Charlotte, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Homicide/ADW Unit are investigating a deadly shooting that happened around 4 p.m. Saturday.
The shooting occurred in the 4400 block of John Penn Circle off of East W.T. Harris Boulevard.
The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Jamale King Caple.
Police found Caple lying in the parking lot suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Caple was pronounced dead on scene by Medic.
