An Ivy League professor writing math equations on an American Airlines flight was questioned after a passenger thought he was a terrorist writing down some sort of code.

The passenger relayed her concerns to a flight attendant who called in a security official at the gate. After being questioned, the professor was allowed to return to his seat.
