Serious Accident on I-485 Outer

MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. — Part of I-485 is closed after a serious accident on Friday evening.

The accident happened around 5:23 p.m. on the I-485 Outer Loop between Mount Holly Road at Exit 14 and Moores Chapel Road at Exit 12.

Medic says three people were transported to Carolinas Medical Center. One person sustained potentially life-threatening injuries.
