Sailsbury, N.C. — One person was shot and killed early Saturday morning, according to Salisbury Police.
Salisbury dispatch received a call for shots fired at 3:39 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of N. Martin Luther King Avenue.
Officers found a 2006 Chevrolet that wrecked into a wooden fence in a side yard.
Police say the driver, 27-year-old Larry Lamar Cruse, was shot and killed.
Police are actively investigating the shooting.
