21st Annual Burnette and Nobles Memorial Golf Tournament

The 21st Annual Burnette and Nobles Memorial Golf Tournament is fast approaching. The event, which will be held at the Cowan’s Ford Golf Club in Stanley North Carolina, has been held over two decades to honor the memory of John Burnette and Andy Nobles, two CMPD Officers who were tragically killed in the line of duty back on October 5th, 1993. This year, the event will be held on May 23rd and will begin with a shotgun start at 9am for the first 36 teams registered and payed for.

Teams can pay $300 to register or $75 per person with check-in at 7:30am. Registration and payments can also be made out online using PayPal or by going to the CMPD HOPE website at www.cmpdhope.org/Tournament.html. Contests will be held throughout play for prizes followed by lunch and raffles afterward. During this time, awards will be handed to the teams who finished in the top three spots of the tournament.
