We live in a time when social media and texting dominate the dating scene.
But a two year study just released shows the way to your significant other’s heart just takes a little old fashion affection.

Researchers attempted to discover how much of a positive difference affectionate texts could make in a relationship.
As it turns out, they didn’t help at all.

Researchers found that successful relationships are based on two things – how affectionate you are and larger amounts of time spent with each other.

In other words — that flirty text can’t hold a candle to some hand holding or even just a smile.
