New Players Added to Panthers Roster

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Six new players have recently been added to the Carolina Panthers roster following a local rookie minicamp held at the team’s facility..

pantherslogo1.jpgThose signed participated in the tryout basis of the camp, which was held on May 13th and 14th. Among the players who were picked-up are running back Jalen Simmons from South Carolina State, wide receiver Miles Shuler from Northwestern, offensive tackle Jordan Rigsbee from the University of California, line backer Jared Barber from West Virginia, tight end Braxton Deaver from Duke University, and cornerback Shaq Richardson from Arizona.

Yet, the addition of these new players is not the only change to the team over the last several days. The Panthers have also recently decided that they will waive cornerbacks Brandon Boykin and Ras-I Dowling, as well as, wide receiver Jenson Stoshack.
