Long Lines, Delays Expected Tuesday At Charlotte-Douglas

CHARLOTTE, NC– Tuesday’s expected to be a busy day at Charlotte-Douglas International, despite a pretty calm weekend.

Passengers were told to show up at the airport three hours early over the holiday weekend.
More people flying combined with a shortage of TSA workers and new rules have lead to long security lines. Most travelers at the airport tonight say didn’t have any problems.

“We thought there was going to be a lot of traffic, especially on the way here but it was actually easy breezy.” said Fort Mill Resident Ashey Dilley.

Try to avoid the busiest times at the airport if you can. They are Monday morning, Tuesday afternoon, Friday afternoon and Sunday afternoon.
