CHARLOTTE, NC — It was supposed to be a surprise concert by Kanye West, but instead it turned to chaos.

More than 4,000 people swarmed Webster Hall in New York City after Kanye took to twitter to announce a secret show that was set to start at 2 a.m. Fans climbed on top of cars, dumpsters and hung out of windows hoping to get a better view. Shortly after 2, Webster  Hall tweeted there would be no show. Police then had to break up the crowd.
