Deputies are currently searching for one of the men reportedly responsible for the larceny of a John Deere CT 322 Skid Steer last April.
Back on April 24th, Deputies were called to a construction site on reports that the skid steer had been stolen. The victim reported that he received information that the skid steer had possibly been seen at 1501 Mountain View Church Road in Yadkinville North Carolina.
When the deputies arrived at the address, they witnessed Michael Dean Groce attempting to leave with the skid on a trailer, according to a news release. After being stopped, Groce complained of medical issues and was transported to a local medical provider.
The $25,000 skid steer was ultimately recovered and returned to its proper owner. However, after further investigation and interviews, it was determined that witnesses saw Jonathan Patrick White and an unknown male dropping the skid off at Groce’s. The witness claims to have known White and soon warrants were issued for Felony Larceny.
White also has an outstanding warrant for a similar incident with the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office. If anyone has any information, they are encouraged to contact ether the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office at 704-878-3180 or Crime Stoppers at 704-662-1340.
